You’ve heard me say it again and again but Blue Hill Tavern is Tim and I’s FAVORITE restaurant. When we want a nice dinner out (and are willing to shell some bucks) or have something to celebrate, we head straight there. Friday night we drove down to Baltimore for a 730 reservation to celebrate our anniversary.
We were seated on the second floor balcony and we got to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful sunset. I ordered a twist on one of my favorite bourbon drinks they no longer have and Tim ordered a Blue Moon. We shared the Scallop appetizer that was served with white beans in a spicy caper broth.
For Tim’s entree he ordered the crab cakes. No surprise there. I ordered the Pork Tenderloin which was served with sweet and sour honey dijon sauce, brussel sprouts and potato saur hash.
Next up, dessert! We ordered the Blue Hill Ice Cream Sundae and dug in. After we finished it, I gasped. “I forgot to take a picture!!” Tim just laughed.
Since the night was still young, we (and by we I mean Tim) paid and we met up with some friends at a local bar for a drink and some skeeball!
We enjoyed ourselves and had a great time. We headed back home sort of early (11 pm, we’re so old) and went to bed. I had a 5k in the morning!
